Please read these Terms of Service carefully before enrolling a student or partnering with AI GEN Academy. These terms govern your relationship with AI GEN Academy and outline the rights and responsibilities of parents, guardians, students, and partner schools.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling a student, applying as a partner school, or using the AI GEN Academy website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not enrol or participate in our programmes.
2. Our Programmes
AI GEN Academy provides extracurricular education in Artificial Intelligence and Coding for students from Year 5 to Year 12, delivered at schools and after school. Programme levels, schedule, curriculum, and delivery format for each student or partner school are confirmed separately during enrolment or partnership onboarding.
3. Parent & Guardian Responsibilities
Parents and guardians are responsible for: • Providing accurate student and contact details at enrolment • Ensuring the student attends scheduled sessions and is collected on time • Notifying us of any medical, behavioural, or learning needs relevant to the student's participation • Paying programme fees in accordance with the agreed terms Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect the student's continued participation in the programme.
4. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and safely toward trainers, peers, and school property. AI GEN Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove a student from a programme where their conduct compromises the safety or learning of others, after discussion with parents or guardians and the partner school where applicable.
5. Child Safety
All AI GEN Academy trainers hold a current Working With Children Check and comply with applicable child-protection legislation. We maintain child-safe practices across all programmes and require partner schools to uphold equivalent standards.
6. Fees & Payment Terms
Programme fees, schedules, and payment terms are confirmed during enrolment or in the school partnership agreement. Unless otherwise agreed: • Fees are payable before the commencement of each programme term • Partner-school revenue share is calculated and distributed as outlined in the partnership agreement Overdue fees may result in a student's place being held or released. AI GEN Academy reserves the right to pause attendance where fees remain outstanding.
7. Intellectual Property
Students retain ownership of the projects and code they create during programmes. AI GEN Academy retains ownership of its curriculum, teaching materials, frameworks, and methodologies. With parental or school consent, AI GEN Academy may showcase student work to celebrate achievement. Personal details of students are not published without explicit consent.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any personal or sensitive information shared during enrolment or programme delivery, including student records and school partnership details. Collection and handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law. This obligation of confidentiality survives the end of a student's enrolment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI GEN Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in our programmes or use of our website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the programme fees paid by you in the term preceding the claim.
10. Cancellation & Withdrawal
A parent or guardian may withdraw a student with written notice. Partner schools may end a partnership in accordance with the partnership agreement. Upon withdrawal, fees for sessions already delivered remain payable, and a pro-rata refund may be considered for prepaid remaining sessions at the discretion of AI GEN Academy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or participation in our programmes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
